About me
Hi! I’m Gabriela — an adventurous solo female traveler, blogger, and photographer on a quest to visit every country in the world.
I started traveling at the age of 18, and it didn’t take long for me to get hooked. I soon came to the conclusion that I wanted to visit every single country. In 2016, I began working more intentionally toward that goal — and since then, I’ve reached my 100th country.
Before starting this blog, I had already visited nearly 70 countries across every continent (except Antarctica — still to come!). I’ve taken several long trips, including:
-
Living and traveling in New Zealand for almost a year
-
One month in Australia
-
Two Interrail trips in Europe (Western and Eastern Europe)
-
Backpacking in Southeast Asia
-
An around-the-world trip
-
Backpacking in Eastern and Southern Africa for three months, visiting eight countries
-
Backpacking and camping through Central America

My goal is to visit every country in the world — and I’m not just flying from one airport to another. I prefer traveling overland and spending meaningful time in each place I visit. I want to learn about the culture, meet local people, and have incredible adventures along the way.
I’m especially drawn to off-the-beaten-path destinations, and Africa has a special place in my heart. A large part of my content focuses on Africa, and while I write about many other regions too, my blog has naturally evolved into something of an Africa travel blog, highlighting lesser-known and under-visited destinations across the continent.
